A Real Purpose: The Story of JHAM

Feature length movie chronicling the travels of four America musicians to Jamaica and Haiti to record with local musicians, featuring Prezident Brown and Earl ‘Chinna’ Smith. The resulting CD’s, “The Tamarind Tree Sessions” and “Everyone Needs Compassion: Mercy for Haiti,” raise money for education in those countries.

For Bill Graham Presents Jarid covered extraordinary music events such as Lollapalooza, HORDE, WOMAD, The Tibetan Freedom Concert, Laguna Seca Daze and Squaw Valley Music Festival and was on the team that documented the inaugural Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tennessee.
Jarid spent 24 years as an in-house camera operator and director at Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA providing iMag for this 22,500 seat venue built by Bill Graham. Jarid has also shot at every legendary music venue in the San Francisco Bay Area and at the major music festivals that take place there.
